Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves have reached an agreement on a three-year, $110 million extension. Gobert has opted to decline his $46.6 million player option for the 2025-2026 season in favor of a new contract that offers the Wolves increased flexibility and long-term security. As part of the extension, Gobert will have a player option for the third year and a trade kicker.
The Timberwolves acquired Gobert from the Utah Jazz in the 2022 offseason. He was named the Defensive Player of the Year last season and helped lead the team to the Western Conference Finals.
