WNBA legend A’ja Wilson has recently posed with Phoenix Suns point guard, Tyus Jones. After snapping the photograph, the Suns star took to his Instagram to share the image with a caption appreciating the basketball legend. In the heartfelt post of appreciation, Jones called Wilson a GOAT.

A’ja Wilson who plays for the Las Vegas Aces of the Women’s National Basketball Association, has recently posed with Tyus Jones’ son, Tyus Jr. The photograph was captured right after the Phoenix Suns’ game with the Miami Heat at Footprint Center on Wednesday night.
Taking to his Instagram story, Jones shared the photograph of his son with the WNBA legend. “Jr w the [GOAT], he wrote.
In the photograph, Tyus Jr. appeared in a purple Nike hoodie and pants while holding a foam finger of Suns to cheer his father’s team. As for Wilson, she appeared in light blue apparel.
In the recent game, Jones had eight assists concluding the game with five points from his side taking the Suns to the 115-112 victory.
Jones previously shared that his family had a huge role in his basketball career. He is married to his wife Carrie Jones. She was involved in discussions with Josh Bartelstein, the Suns’ CEO, coach Mike Budenholzer, and owner Matt Ishbia. He admitted that she played an active role in his career.
“Because this was more than just a decision for myself. It’s about her and the family as well. Just deciding where we want to be, what would be a good spot for them living-wise at the same time and organization-wise,” he previously told ESPN.
Jones further shared that the decision was greatly influenced by the Suns’ understanding of their family. “Honestly, just them including her and understanding our family is a big part of the decision,” he continued. The NBA star further revealed that they have been very serious about balancing family and his career. “We look at everything for our kids, and what helps her be comfortable ultimately helped me be comfortable with the decision,” Jones added.
