The early WNBA offseason has been dominated by the search for the new head coach of the Chicago Sky.
Former coach Teresa Weatherspoon’s connection with Angel Reese and the team added pressure on GM Jeff Pagliocca to make the right hire.
It seems Pagliocca succeeded by bringing on Tyler Marsh, a former assistant coach from the Las Vegas Aces.
Marsh had previously praised Chicago’s young core, and Reese expressed her approval with a post shortly after the announcement.
Reese continued to show support for the coaching decision, even exchanging banter with Sydney Colson over social media.
Excuse me?! We’re grieving, have some 🤬 respect! https://t.co/NJoGjf4VvU— Sydney Colson (@SydJColson) November 2, 2024
Reese responded to Colson, teasing about a possible move to Chicago for the free agent.
Sorry but your time is UP. It’s our turn! I’ll send you some tissue tho sister girl unless you want to come join this side too🤠https://t.co/h0J9ih234S— Angel Reese (@Reese10Angel) November 2, 2024
Colson humorously reacted to Reese’s comment, hinting at a possible move to Chicago.
The atmosphere in Chicago appears to be very positive at the moment.
