LEBANON, Ill. | D2CCA – McKendree University women’s soccer fifth year senior forward Anna Stiffler and fifth year senior midfielder Katie Spotanski received additional postseason recognition for the Bearcats. Stiffler was honored with First Team All-American and First Team All-Midwest accolades, while Spotanksi earned a Second Team All-Region selection. The McKendree women’s soccer team concluded their 2024 season with their eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in November, making it to the GLVC final and securing a spot in the national tournament. Stiffler and Spotanski were also named to the All-GLVC team along with four other McKendree players following the regular season.

Stiffler, who is now the program’s all-time leader in goals and points, ended her Bearcats career with another set of postseason honors. She led the GLVC with 16 goals, nine game-winning goals, 11 assists, and 43 points. Stiffler also led NCAA DII in game-winning goals and ranked in the top 10 for goals, assists, and points. She scored in 12 games, had three multi-goal games, and tallied goals or assists in 17 of 22 games played during the season. Stiffler set single-season records in goals, assists, points, and game-winning goals during her exceptional season.
