Natasha Howard is expected to sign a deal to rejoin the Indiana Fever, first reported by Alexa Philippou of ESPN. Howard is a veteran that many teams would have liked to add to their rosters in 2025 and beyond, having made a strong impact on both ends of the floor in the paint over the course of her 11-year WNBA career. Howard has moved around the league a bit over her career, spending time with Minnesota, Seattle, New York and most recently Dallas ahead of the 2025 campaign. Now, she’s headed back to the team that drafted her, alongside players Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark, and Aliyah Boston.
With Dallas in 2024, Howard appeared in 27 games while dealing with injuries throughout the season, ending the year with 17.6 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 2.9 APG, 1.3 SPG, and 0.8 BPG. Though she is getting up there in age, entering the new season at the age of 33, Howard still has plenty to give as a player in this league. She will make her mark in 2025 as we have seen throughout her career to this point, if she is able to stay healthy and on the court.
