“We are excited to welcome Izzy Harrison to the Liberty family and look forward to the positive impact she will have on and off the court,” said Liberty Head Coach Sandy Brondello. “Having originally drafted her with Phoenix, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to impact games on both ends. Izzy’s versatility and commitment strengthens our post rotation and makes her an ideal fit for our team as we pursue another championship in 2025.”
The 2025 season marks the seventh year in the WNBA for Harrison, 30, and follows her past stints in Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas, and Chicago. In her most recent campaign with the Sky, the Nashville native appeared in 36 contests and averaged 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
She has appeared in 203 games over her WNBA career, accumulating 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, as well as a 47.4 shooting percentage from the field.
Now in the midst of AU Pro Basketball Season 4, Harrison – the league’s inaugural Defensive Player of the Year – currently sits at seventh on the leaderboard. She also serves as a member of the Player Executive Committee.
Harrison is captaining one of the four squads for the Week Three action and will lead her team in its Sunday, Feb. 23, matchup versus Team Caldwell.
