The Indiana Fever have officially drawn their WNBA playoff opponent.
Indiana will be playing Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream, led by Coach of the Year candidate, Karl Smesko.
The Fever have found a way to have a successful season, making their way to the playoffs, despite several losses, such as Caitlin Clark suffering a season-ending injury.
As the Fever prepare for the playoffs, Indiana head coach Stephanie White recently discussed the matchup against the Atlanta Dream.
White shared her first thoughts on the matchup after the official schedule was released and gave her thoughts on the difficulties they may have against Atlanta.
“Their size, their size at multiple positions,” White said, per Tony East. “That’s been a challenge for us. We’re going to have to combat that with our discipline No. 1 and with our reads on the offensive end of the floor. Secondly, the way they space the floor.”
