JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Women’s Soccer fell at Florida Gulf Coast, 6-0, on Sunday afternoon at Pickering Field at The FGCU Soccer Complex.
North Florida is now 5-7-2 and 3-2 in the ASUN.
Florida Gulf Coast got on the board with five first-half goals in the 21st, 25th, 35th, 37th and 43rd minute. Florida Gulf Coast added to the margin in the 51st minute.
Redshirt junior midfielder/forward Paige McSwigan paced the Ospreys with a pair of shots and a shot on goal in the 67th minute. Freshman midfielder Emery Scerbo notched her first collegiate shot.
Overall, 22 Ospreys logged action in the match.
North Florida returns home to Hodges Stadium to battle Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday, Oct. 9. The match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN+.
