CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Tip times for all 18 home Illinois women’s basketball games have been set. Start times have been announced for all but one road game as well. The most up-to-date Illinois women’s basketball schedule – including opponents, times, and TV/streams – can be found HERE.
Outside of games picked up by TV, Field Trip Day, and the Illini’s games against Illinois State (12 p.m.) and USC (12 p.m., Super Bowl Sunday), Illinois has selected 2 p.m. CT weekend tipoffs and 6 p.m. weeknight starts.
The Orange and Blue’s exhibition game on Oct. 30 vs. Maryville will kick off the 6 p.m. weeknight slate of games. Five days later, Illinois will return to State Farm Center for its season opener against Southeast Missouri State (SEMO), another 6 p.m. start. The Illini will host Illinois State on Sunday Nov. 9, for a 12 p.m. start.
After a trip to Oregon State on Nov. 14, Shauna Green and company will host Murray State on Nov. 18 for Field Trip Day, which is slated for an 11 a.m. tipoff and is free admission to all fans. Illinois then hits the road again for a Nov. 23 contest at Florida State.
From there, the Fighting Illini play in State Farm Center for six of their next seven outings. Western Kentucky comes to town for a 6 p.m. game on Nov. 26, followed by Le Moyne at 2 p.m. on Nov. 30. Bellarmine visits for a 6 p.m. tilt on Dec. 2, followed by Illinois’ Big Ten opener against Indiana at 11 a.m. on Dec. 6. The Orange and Blue make their first of two December road trips on Dec. 10 with a visit to Missouri for the McBride Homes Braggin’ Rights game. On Dec. 14, North Texas comes to town for a 2 p.m. contest, followed by a Dec. 19 meeting with Jackson State scheduled for 6 p.m. to wrap up nonconference play.
Following the holiday break, Illinois jumps back into Big Ten action with a trip to Purdue before returning home to ring in the new year with a Jan. 1 game vs. Maryland slated for 3 p.m. On Jan. 7, the Illini host Ohio State with a 6 p.m. start time. After two games on the road, the Orange and Blue host Northwestern on Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. On Jan. 28, UCLA visits State Farm Center with a 6 p.m. start scheduled.
After the trip to the Pacific Northwest, Illinois will host USC (Feb. 8, 12 p.m.), Wisconsin (Feb. 11, 6 p.m.), and Rutgers (Feb. 17, 6 p.m.) for a three-game homestand. February will close with back-to-back road games for Illinois.
Senior day is slated for March 1 at 2 p.m. when Minnesota comes to town.
