According to recent reports, Emma Raducanu may start the 2026 season wearing Uniqlo apparel instead of Nike. A move to Uniqlo would signal a strategic shift for the Japanese brand as it looks to establish a visible presence on the WTA Tour.
Before signing with Nike in 2018 on a deal reported to be worth around $100,000 per year, Raducanu was endorsed by Asics. She is now reportedly set to follow a path taken by Roger Federer, who shockingly switched from Nike to Uniqlo in 2018.
Last year, Raducanu was ranked as the seventh-highest-paid female athlete in the world, largely due to her endorsement portfolio. However, she fell off that list in 2025, a drop driven primarily by the loss of her most lucrative sponsorship, a reported £3 million per year partnership with Vodafone. According to the Daily Mail, the agreement ended because Raducanu was demanding too much money during renegotiations.
Four years on from her Grand Slam glory, the Brit remains defined by that singular title. She closed the 2025 WTA season at world No. 29, compiling a 28–22 singles record.
