EUGENE, Ore. – Illinois wrapped up its two-game road swing in the Pacific Northwest with a 76-73 loss to Oregon on Wednesday night.

The Fighting Illini stormed back from a 21-point second-half deficit to take a late lead in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as the Orange and Blue moved to 16-7 overall with a 6-6 mark in Big Ten play.

Illinois used a 21-0 run in the third quarter, including a 23-2 stretch to close the frame, to tie the game at 51 heading into the final frame. Establishing its first lead of the night with 9:03 remaining in the fourth quarter, Illinois went ahead by as many as eight before falling to host Oregon.

Berry Wallace scored in double figures for the 13th straight game, finishing with a team-high 19 points while adding four rebounds and three assists.

Destiny Jackson filled the stat sheet with 13 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and one steal, while Cearah Parchment posted 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Maddie Webber continued to provide a spark off the bench with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. Lety Vasconcelos logged eight points, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals while going 4-for-5 from the field.

Next up, Illinois looks to sell out State Farm Center as it hosts USC on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT.

Lety Vasconcelos registered eight points, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.

Oregon won the opening tip and opened the scoring on its first possession of the night.
The first Illini off the bench was Lety Vasconcelos, who checked in at 8:53 in the first quarter.
Illinois started the second quarter with a 6-2 run, reducing its deficit to 25-20 during that three-minute stretch.
Illinois used a 21-0 run over the span of 6:34 in the third quarter, coming all the way back to tie the game at 49.

The Illini closed the third quarter on a 23-2 run, holding the Ducks without a field goal for the final 7:46 of the frame.
Illinois outscored Oregon 27-6 in the third quarter overall.
The Illini’s 21-0 run tied their longest scoring stretch of the season, which they also achieved against Le Moyne on Nov. 30.
