Brittney Griner wants to remain relevant with her fans, especially amid the WNBA offseason. With the league still negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement with the players union and a lockout looming, stars such as Griner need to make their own moves outside the WNBA.

Griner is playing in Unrivaled, an independent 3-on-3 league founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. Griner is part of Vinyl Basketball Club alongside other WNBA stars, including Dearica Hamby, Courtney Williams and Rhyne Howard, to name a few.

On a personal note, Griner recently launched her own YouTube channel. On Wednesday, she made a request following her social media move.

Griner first announced her new channel on Jan. 21 and uploaded a day-in-the-life video. The 35-year-old took her viewers through her preparation for an Unrivaled game. The 10-minute video also included multiple trips to Best Buy for her gaming stream.

Griner also started uploading shorts, which have amassed thousands of views. As of writing, the channel has over 1,100 subscribers.

On Wednesday, the two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year took to social media to make a request of her fans.

“Subscribe to my YouTube Channel,” she posted on Instagram, sharing a clip of her first YouTube video.

Griner promises to post more content about her daily life in future videos.

Griner just completed her 12th season in the WNBA. She suited up for the Atlanta Dream in 2025. The nine-time All-Star joined the Dream as a free agent after 11 seasons with the Phoenix Mercury.

In 39 games played in 2025, Griner averaged 9.8 points on 51.8% shooting, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 20.8 minutes per contest. These were all career-low numbers for the two-time WNBA scoring champion.

Griner’s one-year deal with the Dream has expired. She is a free agent and will need to negotiate a new contract, either with Atlanta or another WNBA team.

Vinyl BC is back in action in Unrivaled against Laces BC at 5:45 p.m. ET Sunday on truTV and Max.
