Caitlin Clark’s ascent to superstardom in women’s basketball has been chronicled extensively, but a viral TikTok clip from the weekend seems to make it clear who her youngest admirer might be.
A video shared Friday by TikTok user @dieguitoo____ showed a newborn girl in the hospital watching Clark’s Fever highlights on an iPhone resting beside her. Bleacher Report reposted the clip Saturday night, where it had gathered nearly 20,000 likes at the time of writing.
Clark’s influence on women’s basketball — spanning from her Iowa tenure to her time with the Fever — remains unmistakable, pushing every league she joins to record-breaking viewership numbers.
Complex recently named her the No. 1 most influential athlete of 2025, noting how the “Caitlin Clark” effect is transforming the broader sports world.
Sportscasting.com reports that her mere participation increases WNBA attendance by 105% compared to games she doesn’t play in, while road matchups featuring her Indiana Fever draw an 87% spike in the home crowd.

Meanwhile, Forbes ranked her No. 4 on its 2025 list of America’s most powerful women in sports. She is the highest-ranked athlete included, trailing only Nike Brand president Amy Montagne, FanDuel CEO Amy Howe and Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson.
Caitlin Clark nearing back to 100% after injury-riddled year
Caitlin Clark endured a frustrating 2025 campaign with the Fever, appearing in just 13 games due to a right groin injury that sidelined her during much of the team’s determined playoff push.
However, at The ANNIKA Pro-Am earlier this month, the Fever standout announced she has returned to full strength.
When a Golf Channel reporter asked during the event whether she had been working on her golf game throughout her recovery, Clark acknowledged the injuries had limited her time on the course but said she feels close to full health.
“Unfortunately, it means I’ve played less, just because I haven’t been able to get out there with some of the injuries that I was dealing with. But now I’m feeling back to 100%,” Clark said (per Hawkeyes Wire).
Clark earned a spot on the 18-player training camp roster for Team USA ahead of the FIBA World Cup next September, with camp scheduled for Dec. 12-14.
