Although Canelo has been hesitant in the past about facing Crawford and partnering with Riyadh Season, it seems that a potential super fight with the American is now a possibility.
Despite the weight gap, “Bud” has expressed his desire to fight Álvarez, with Turki Alalshikh also showing interest in this matchup. On the same eventful night as Canelo-Berlanga, Crawford and His Excellency sent a message to the Mexican through Crawford’s Instagram account. In the video, the Omaha native asked Alalshikh: “Tell them we going for Canelo Next”

Alalshikh responded vigorously: “Yes, let’s go. Canelo come on. We are ready.”
The video then switched back to Crawford, who said: “Just put me in the game coach, just put me in the game.”
He added: “Canelo-Crawford, the biggest fight in the boxing world.”
Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford: Open to Business
When asked in Chula Vista if he is willing to collaborate with His Excellency and face Crawford: “I never say no to business,” Alvarez responded. “So if it’s business for me, I’m open to discussion, no matter what,” said the Mexican superstar.
Canelo made it clear that negotiations won’t begin until January: “Right now, I’m focused on other things. Currently, I’m enjoying time with my family,” Alvarez stated. “I’m not thinking about boxing yet. So, maybe in January, we will start that process.”

Álvarez also hinted at the possibility of facing Jake Paul and seeking retribution for Mike Tyson: “I felt sorry for what I saw from Mike Tyson because, at his age (58) and all, he shouldn’t be doing that kind of stuff,” Alvarez remarked. He added: “However, it’s business for them. It’s alright, whatever. I considered (avenging Tyson) when I witnessed the fight,when I saw the injustice. But we will see.”
