BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Freshman Addie Chapman has been awarded Gulf South Conference freshman of the week for her game-winning goal with Lee University women’s soccer. The announcement was made by the league on Tuesday.
Chapman, a Chattanooga native, secured the victory over the University of Montevallo with her goal. In the team’s sole game of the week, she took three shots, one of which was on target. Chapman started the game and played 65 minutes, marking her second career start.
The Lady Flames will play their final two home games this weekend.
