Sonia Bompastor’s Chelsea have been uncharacteristically poor in their last two games.

The Blues have endured back to back 1-1 draws first against Manchester United in the league and then against FC Twente in the Champions League.

It seems that somehow Chelsea’s usually unstoppable attack has simply forgot how to score in the past two weeks.

Despite dropping points two games in a row, the Blues still sit top of the WSL unbeaten.

Although they haven’t lost in the league in over a year, Chelsea look vulnerable right now and Tottenham will be looking to capitalise.

Spurs midfielder Eveliina Summanen said earlier this week that she is confident her side can get a result away from home this weekend.

Tottenham have been one of the best teams in the WSL this year so far and their only loss of the campaign has come in a 5-1 thrashing by Manchester City.

This weekend’s visitors come into the clash in good form though having won back to back games against Leicester and Brighton.

With no European game to play during the week, Tottenham will hold the advantage of no tired legs on Sunday.

Sam Kerr is pushing for a start now she has returned to full fitness and could start alongside Beever-Jones.

The Blues gave a debut to exciting 16-year-old Chloe Sarwie in their Champions League loss and the defender could feature off the bench against Spurs.

Spurs could name a very similar lineup as their past two games, with Martin Ho’s team impressing in back to back wins.

Cathinka Tandberg has been in fine form to start her campaign with three goals in four and she will no doubt lead the line once more.

Ashleigh Neville returned to the Spurs lineup in their last win and is expected to start over Josefine Rybrink once more following an impressive display.

Although they have struggled in back to back games, it isn’t usually long until Chelsea sort out their issues.

We are backing the Blues to get back to winning, and scoring ways against Spurs this weekend.

Tottenham will certainly be no walkover for the champions though and Sonia Bompastor’s team could be in for a tough afternoon.
