Derby County to offer free admission for Sunderland FA Cup tie

Fans of Derby County and Sunderland will be able to claim free tickets to attend their Adobe Women’s FA Cup third round tie next month.

The Ewes play host to The Lady Black Cats at the Don Amott Arena in Mickleover on Sunday 14 December 2025 (kick-off 2pm).

Derby County will put tickets on-sale to all supporters at 9am tomorrow morning. All fans who obtain tickets in advance will be able to do so free of charge. It is hoped that the decision to offer free admission will help the club attract a bumper crowd.

There will be paid admission available to fans who opt against obtaining tickets in advance of matchday with adult tickets priced at £6 and children over the age or five and concessions priced at £3. Young children are free of charge.

The winners of the tie will go into the fourth round draw where they have the potential opportunity to draw one of the 12 clubs from the Barclays Women’s Super League. Derby County met top tier Leicester City two seasons’ ago while Sunderland have enjoyed a couple of exciting ties against Manchester United in recent years.
