The Giffnock Soccer Centre has been charged by the Championship and League One League management Committee for fielding unregistered player(s) in their opening game against Edinburgh Caledonia on August 11, 2024.
Despite the player(s) not being registered on the COMET IT system, they participated in the game, which ended with a 4-3 victory for Giffnock.
Consequently, the club will be subjected to sanctions determined by the LMC, and the match will be awarded as a 3-0 win for Edinburgh Caledonia.
Giffnock SC retains the right to appeal this ruling.
