Paige Bueckers has been the talk of the WNBA community for a while now. The UConn Huskies star is projected to be the first pick of the 2025 draft, however, “Mick Talks Hoops” thinks differently. On Monday, the YouTuber made a video about Bueckers and expressed why the Huskies star should not be the first pick.
In the video, Mick argued that Olivia Miles is a better prospect than Bueckers and that the UConn Huskies star is going through a rough patch.
Fans flooded the comment section. One fan questioned whether Bueckers would tank to avoid getting drafted to Dallas.
“Wonder if Paige is purposely “tanking” to avoid going to Dallas?”
Other fans expressed similar sentiments.
“We have heard that Paige doesn’t want to go to the Wings. Do you think she might be tanking herself?”
“Paige wants to go to LA I don’t think she would be to upset being the #2 pick plus a lot more advertising and sponsorship in LA than in Dallas.”
