After leaving the UFC and venturing into boxing, there has been speculation about when Francis Ngannou will make his PFL debut.
Despite criticism for leaving the UFC, Ngannou seized the opportunity to showcase his skills in boxing and became a prominent figure in combat sports.
Now, after almost three years, Ngannou is set to return to the cage for the first time.
An announcement has been made confirming Ngannou’s opponent and fight date in the PFL. He will face Renan Ferreira for the Super Fight title in the SmartCage.
Ferreira’s height advantage at 6’8″ presents a unique challenge for Ngannou.
Ferreira has an impressive 92% win rate, with his last four PFL fights ending in knockouts. His quick victory over Ryan Bader exemplifies his formidable skills.
