Starting the season unranked, Iowa has quickly climbed the polls with an impressive 8-0 record, now sitting at No. 17 in the latest AP Top 25 rankings.
Their strong start has caught the attention of the college basketball world, with ESPN recognizing Iowa as one of the biggest surprises of the season so far.
ESPN acknowledges that TCU and Iowa were underrated teams at the beginning of the season. Iowa’s success, despite losing key players and their head coach, has been impressive.
