The Ireland Women’s National Team will finish the group stages of their 2025 UEFA Nations League campaign by taking on Slovenia in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Tuesday, June 3rd.
This will be the second time that the WNT will have played in the Cork venue following last year’s 3-1 victory over France in front of 18,399 spectators.
The Girls in Green have already played Slovenia away and hosted Türkiye ahead of a double header against Greece in April. They will complete their League B, Group 2 fixtures away to Türkiye and then home to Slovenia.
Ireland WNT Head Coach Carla Ward said: “We are looking forward to bringing the Ireland squad back to Cork in June to close out the group stages of the UEFA Nations League.
“All of our players and staff talk so positively about the welcome they received in Cork and the atmosphere created in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, so we’re hoping to experience that again in front of a packed stadium.”
Returning to Cork for the eighth time, the WNT have previously played in both Turner’s Cross and Flower’s Lodge but enjoyed the best result in their history when beating World No 2 France in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in July 2024.
The kick off for the Slovenia fixture is set by UEFA for 18:00 to ensure that all final group stage games start at the same time.
