The Las Vegas Strip has hosted plenty of memorable basketball — from the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces to an NCAA Tournament Regional to a string of high-profile college showcases.
Next fall, the UNLV women’s basketball team will get its first taste of competing on the Strip.
The Lady Rebels will open the 2026-27 season against USC in the Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase on Nov. 2 at T-Mobile Arena, team officials announced today.
“We are excited to continue to put our program on the national stage by playing in this incredible event against an amazing program in USC,” coach Lindy La Rocque. “Tipping off the 2026-27 season at T-Mobile Arena will be a great experience for our team and fans.”
Arizona will face Stanford in the showcase’s other women’s game. The marquee event will also feature two men’s matchups — Arizona against UCLA and Gonzaga against Purdue — with all four games nationally televised across TNT Sports’ networks and platforms.
The Hall of Fame Series has previously staged events in places like Los Angeles and New York, consistently drawing top-ranked programs and national television audiences.
The showcase will return to Las Vegas on Nov. 12, 2027, for a men’s event at Allegiant Stadium featuring Arizona vs. Duke and Indiana vs. Kansas. It will be the first basketball games at Allegiant.
