The 50th anniversary of the 911 Turbo will be celebrated at the curated air-cooled Porsche experience. Tickets for admission can still be purchased at luftgekuhlt.com, which also includes access to various pre- and post-Luft events.
Known as the original Porsche icon, the 911 Turbo has become synonymous with high performance and innovative technology. For fifty years, this vehicle has captured the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide with its distinctive design features. The 930 model, introduced at the Paris Motor Show on October 3, 1974, solidified the 911 Turbo’s legendary status and left a lasting impact on automotive history.
To honor the significance of the 911 Turbo and celebrate its milestone anniversary, Luftgekühlt 10 will feature a showcase of iconic vehicles, including original and modified examples in the signature Luft style at the Universal Studios Backlot.
In line with Luft tradition, the organizers have arranged for the display of notable racing models, such as the 930-based Vasek Polak Racing Porsche 934 which secured the 1976 Trans-Am Championship.
Attendees of Luft 10 can expect to see a range of 911 Turbo exhibits along with a variety of important air-cooled Porsches. More details about the featured cars will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Additionally, a full itinerary of supporting events has been shared via the Luft newsletter, offering fans various opportunities to engage with the Luft experience. Events include pre-parties, a celebration at the Petersen Automotive Museum, and the Mobil 1 Air-Cooled Caravan rally on October 6.
Although Early Access tickets and vehicle registration have closed, General Admission tickets are still available for purchase on luftgekuhlt.com/pages/luft-10.
