Majeski, after being sent to the rear early in the race due to an uncontrolled tire penalty, fought his way to the front and took advantage of a restart with 20 laps left to pass leader William Sawalich.
Another caution brought the field together for a restart with eight laps remaining. Majeski managed to maintain his lead as the field raced hard behind him.
He held off Christian Eckes by 0.926 seconds to secure his second win of the 2024 season and fifth of his career.
“It feels great. We’ve had a strong ThorSport truck at Richmond for the past two years. We’ve had some setbacks, but we were able to pull through tonight,” Majeski commented. “We need to work on eliminating mistakes before the playoffs begin.”
“I owe a lot to Duke and Rhonda Thorson for giving me this opportunity two years ago. It’s been an incredible experience racing for this team. We’ll strive to bring home another trophy.”
Taylor Gray finished third, Grant Enfinger in fourth, and Layne Riggs in fifth place.
The race on Saturday night finalized the 10-driver playoff field.
Joining Majeski in the playoffs based on wins are Eckes, Corey Heim, Nick Sanchez, and Rajah Caruth. The remaining slots were filled based on points by Tyler Ankrum, Enfinger, Taylor Gray, reigning series champion Ben Rhodes, and Daniel Dye.
Tanner Gray narrowly missed out on the field, finishing 12 points behind Dye. The first playoff race is set for August 25 at The Milwaukee Mile.
Stage 1

Stage 2
Enfinger grabbed the lead on a restart with six laps to go and won Stage 2 by holding off Eckes by 0.305 seconds. Dye finished third, Riggs fourth, and Heim in fifth.
On Lap 128, Matt Crafton, who needed a win to make the playoffs, spun around off Turn 4 and hit the inside retaining wall.
Stage 3
After the break between Stages 2 and 3, only a few lead-lap trucks pitted. Enfinger maintained his lead as the race resumed with 101 laps left.
A wreck involving multiple trucks occurred shortly after the restart on the backstretch, taking out several drivers including Thad Moffitt, Keith McGee, and Dean Thompson.
After clearing the track of the seven-truck incident, the race resumed, but then Alan Lawless spun around, causing the sixth caution of the race.
Enfinger continued to lead Rhodes and Eckes when the race resumed with 73 laps remaining. Connor Jones stalled on the track on lap 182, leading to another caution.
Heim took the lead from Enfinger with 29 laps to go, but a spin by Kaden Honeycutt brought out another caution.
Most lead-lap trucks pitted for new tires, with Sawalich the first off pit road after taking right-side tires. He led Enfinger on the restart with 20 laps left.
Majeski quickly grabbed the lead on the restart as Sawalich fell behind with four new tires.
A spin by Connor Zilisch brought out a caution, setting up another restart with eight laps to go and Majeski leading Enfinger, Riggs, and Eckes.
