Mike Tyson ‘cried like a baby’ during Jake Paul loss

Following the recent defeat of the boxing legend, a video circulating shows Mike Tyson allegedly crying during his fight with Jake Paul.

World Boxing News obtained a copy of the clip, despite not watching the fight due to the age gap between the two fighters. The incident was captured during rounds as Tyson appeared to whimper while sitting on his stool.

Debate has ensued over whether Tyson cried or was simply in pain for a moment, causing him to wince. Given Tyson’s past openness about crying, it’s hard to determine for certain.

Opinions vary, with one fan saying, “Tyson cried like a baby,” and another claiming, “Mike was just catching his breath.”

Paul emerged victorious over Tyson with a points win after ten rounds. Netflix broadcast the event, with fans expressing disappointment over the stream quality as Tyson suffered his seventh defeat and struggled to perform at his best.

Tyson later spoke about the defeat, revealing that he almost didn’t make it to the ring. He expressed gratitude for being able to fight one last time despite the loss.

Tyson explained, “This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June. Had eight blood transfusions, lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight, so I won.”

Reflecting on the experience of facing a younger opponent in front of a crowd, Tyson emphasized the significance of the moment for his children and himself.

He updated fans on FOX Sports Radio, mentioning that he doesn’t remember much about the fight and only recalls Jake Paul bowing after the first round.

After the loss, Tyson shared that he wasn’t tired or sweaty and went to the after-party before returning home with his family.
