New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is confident that he will score his first touchdown early in the upcoming season.
After a solid rookie season where he caught 23 passes for 373 yards but did not reach the end zone, Hyatt is determined to make an impact from the start.
“Week 1,” Hyatt declared to the New York Post when asked about when he expects to score his first touchdown.
Hyatt, known for his speed and previous success in college, is focused on making a mark in the NFL this year.
Despite not scoring last season, Hyatt remains motivated and has been working hard with his teammates this offseason, especially with quarterback Daniel Jones.
Confident in Jones’ ability to bounce back from injury, Hyatt is eager to hit the field and showcase what he and his fellow receivers can do this season.
Hyatt is part of a young receiving corps, including other talented players like Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson. He believes that their potential is being overlooked by the league.
“We have four or five dynamic receivers who are all hungry to make plays. We plan to show the NFL what we can do on the field,” Hyatt stated.
If the Giants’ receiving corps lives up to their potential, the team could have a potent offense this season.
