PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC – The European MMA event of the summer is finally here. OKTAGON 74 takes over the stunning outdoor venue of Štvanice on Saturday, August 9, with a stacked fight card headlined by a high-stakes bantamweight title fight and the quarterfinal stage of the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger middleweight tournament.
Earlier today, all 20 fighters hit the scales for the official weigh-ins, setting the stage for an unforgettable night in Prague.
Main Event – Bantamweight Gold on the Line
In the headline bout, Norwegian star Cecilie Bolander (4-1) makes the first defense of her bantamweight crown against undefeated phenom Lucia Szabová (9-0). Both fighters made weight and are ready to go to war in what promises to be a thrilling championship clash.
Co-Main Event – Tipsport Gamechanger Quarterfinals
The co-main event features current middleweight champion Kerim Engizek (22-4) facing off with former Cage Warriors titleholder Mick Stanton (14-8) in the Gamechanger bracket.
The night also sees Czech contender Dominik Humburger (10-2) battle South Africa’s Mark Hulme (13-3), while UFC veteran Krzysztof Jotko (26-6, 1NC) meets knockout specialist Marek Mazúch (9-3) — despite both missing weight. The final quarterfinal pits Piotr Wawrzyniak (14-6) against the well-rounded Hojat Khajevand (9-4).
