Team News for Real Madrid v Real Mallorca
Madrid’s season has been blighted by injuries and they show no sign of easing with Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Jr the latest to be struck down.
Neither will play in midweek although the club did not give a timeline for their return.
Vazquez’s setback means Fede Valverde will likely have to revert to a right-back position. Rodrygo would have been the obvious replacement for Vinicius Jr but the Brazil international left training this morning with a leg injury amid continued speculation regarding his Madrid future.
Aurelien Tchouameni is suspended, so Jacobo Ramon may come in.
Mallorca boss Jagoba Arrasate is without the injured Manu Morlanes, Robert Navarro and Abdon Prats.
Chiquinho missed the win over Valladolid and is a doubt.
