Get ready, Dodgers fans. The race for tickets begins Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
That’s when the team’s single-game tickets go on sale to the general public, one day after an early period for Mastercard customers.
The available games include the home opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 26 and the World Series ring ceremony the following day, March 27, ahead of another matchup with the D-backs.
The final game of that series with the D-backs is March 28 and features a Will Smith bobblehead capturing his home run in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series.
Dodgers Seek to Three-peat
The 2025 World Series victory locked up back-to-back championships for the Boys in Blue, and they’re seeking to become the first team since the 1998 to 2000 New York Yankees to win three World Series in a row.
Many of the stars are back for another season, like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
A few notable players, however, are no longer with the squad for a variety of reasons.
Longtime Dodger Clayton Kershaw retired after the World Series, and fan favorite pitcher Anthony Banda has been designated for assignment and appears to be on his way out.
Utility player Kiké Hernández hasn’t committed to returning to the team, though he’s widely expected to rejoin the Boys in Blue.
Despite that sentiment, he’s been coy, recently responding to a question from a fan on the topic with a simple shrug.
New Faces on the Field
It’s not all exits for the Dodgers, though, as several prominent players have also joined the team.
Outfielder Kyle Tucker signed a four-year deal for $240 million, and star closer Edwin Diaz joined for $69 million over three years.
Those two big-ticket additions were a pleasant surprise for Dodgers fans, though even president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman didn’t think the team would get both.
Speaking to Jack Harris of the California Post, he put the odds of getting both Tucker and Diaz at less than 5%.
With the stars in place, attention now turns to the rest of the roster.
Spring training at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona, should help illuminate who could contribute to the team this year.
Pitchers and catchers report Friday, Feb. 13, with the rest of the team reporting Tuesday, Feb. 17.
