Stirling University took advantage of leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s home 5-1 loss to Renfrew to move top of the Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship table on goal difference after beating Glasgow Girls and Women 2-1. Ann Taylor completed her brace on 75 minutes after Glasgow had equalised through Caitlin McKee just after half time.

Forfar Farmington were held to a goalless draw at home by Dryburgh athletic in the Dundee-Angus derby, while Morton created a ten-point gap between themselves and the relegation playoff spot with a significant 4-1 home victory against second-bottom Westdyke. Stenhousemuir defeated bottom side Hutchison Vale 12-0 in Edinburgh.Bonnyrigg Rose stay top of the Barclays Scottish Women’s League One after four first half goals from striker Jen Brown put the game beyond Airdrie Ladies.

Sophie Harrison had put the home side ahead from the spot early on, but Rose stepped up a gear, testing Airdrie keeper Lauren Forsyth from various angles before Brown calmly rounded her on ten minutes to slot home an equaliser. She would go on to score a further three in a ruthless 20-minute spell to have her side comfortable at half time.

Although Airdrie Ladies rallied in the second half, hitting the bar from a free-kick, Bonnyrigg substitutes Niamh Naysmith and Saffron McCabe combined in 82 minutes to allow the latter to fire home and round off a comfortable 5-1 victory.

Second-placed St Mirren ensured the pressure was maintained on Rose with a stunning 10-0 home victory against Dundee West, Inverurie Locos put eight past Giffnock at home and Queen of the South beat Dunipace 6-2 in Dumfries. Kilwinning moved above Edinburgh Caledonia after beating them 1-0.
