BUFFALO, NY – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2025 women’s soccer all-conference team today, recognizing three Buffalo State team members in Olivia Kilmer (Hammondsport, NY/Avoca), Kaylee Valentic (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda), and Emily Maczka (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North).
Kilmer earns Second Team All-SUNYAC for a second straight season. Following her Rookie of the Year campaign in 2024, Kilmer paced the Bengals with 19 points on nine goals and an assist. Her goal total was tied for third in the SUNYAC and featured a hat trick in the SUNYAC First Round against New Paltz, the first postseason hat trick for Buffalo State since Mary Lund in 1984. Kilmer was also named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team.
Valentic also earned Second Team All-SUNYAC honors for a second straight season. Valentic started in 19 of 20 games for the Bengals and was third on the team with 14 points and second with five goals. Valentic finished her career in the top-five in program history with 67 career points.
Rounding out the field for the Bengals is Maczka with a Third Team All-SUNYAC selection, the first of her career. Maczka also had a huge season for Buffalo State with 17 points on four goals and nine assists. She shared the conference lead in assists and finished in the top-10 in overall points.
The Bengals finished the season with a record of 8-7-5 (4-2-3 SUNYAC) as they reached the postseason for a second straight year. Following their first postseason win since 2016, the Bengals reached the conference semifinal game for the first time since that season before falling to the eventual SUNYAC Champion-Cortland Red Dragons.
