Eric Valencia vs Willie Harris

Next up in the lightweight division, Eric Valencia (4-0, 4 KOs) started fast and landed a big right hand, knocking down Willie Harris (0-2, 0 KOs), who quickly got to his feet. A left hook to the body soon followed, leaving Harris in agony and unable to beat the count. Another KO to add to the list in Wichita.

John Cantrell vs Franklin Sparks

It was the turn of the heavyweights next with John Cantrell (14-0, 13 KOs) taking on Franklin Sparks (4-5, 3 KOs). Sparks started well, picking his shots smartly before Cantrell landed a big left hook that put Sparks down. He was unable to beat the count. Another first-round stoppage!

Jorge Carlos vs Jay Krupp

In the third fight of the night, it was unbeaten Jorge Carlos (10-0, 9 KOs) vs Jay Krupp (18-11, 8 KOs) in the welterweight division. What a start again, with Carlos showing his clear promise, landing a huge body shot and knocking down Krupp, who beat the count. Carlos pounced and landed a massive left to the body, flooring Krupp again. This time, Krupp was in real pain and unable to beat the count, awarding Carlos from Kansas the first-round stoppage.

Marco Romero vs Andre Amaro

Next up was a cruiserweight contest, with Marco Romero (9-0, 8 KOs) facing fellow unbeaten fighter Andre Amaro (2-1, 2 KOs). A quick four-punch combination from Romero, finishing with a big straight right-hand flooring Amaro, who was unable to beat the count. Wow! That was quick and impressive from Romero.

Joshua Richey vs Chancey Wilson

In the opening fight of the night, it was time for the featherweights, with debutants Joshua Richey (0-1, 0 KOs) and Chancey Wilson (1-0, 0 KOs) facing off in a scheduled four-rounder. The opening round was fairly cagey, with the old bare knuckle fighting rivals looking to find their range.

Early in the second round, Wilson landed a nice combination. Richey had his moments, but Wilson produced the more eye-catching work throughout, showcasing his power and accuracy. The judges’ scorecards read 40-35 x2 and 39-36 in favour of Wilson.
