Rain has been the talk of the F1 weather forecasts across the first three races of the season, but what is the prediction for Bahrain?
The Australian Grand Prix was hit by rainfall which led to treacherous track conditions and a number of accidents, while threatened showers failed to materialise in China.
Japan saw the race start on a damp track but was otherwise unaffected. Bahrain is typically warm and dry but there was rain during pre-season testing at the same venue. Here’s the Bahrain Grand Prix weather forecast.
Strong wind on Friday and Saturday
On Friday, it will remain dry. According to the weather radar, the chance of rain is zero percent. It will be extremely hot, with 33 degrees Celsius during FP1 and 30 degrees Celsius during FP2. According to the expectations, there will not be a cloud in the sky. However, the drivers should be aware of the wind, with gusts of between 20 and 30 km/h are expected.
On Saturday, there is a small chance of rain for final practice and qualifying. However, this chance is less than 20 percent. It will be cloudier than on Friday, though the sun will be visible during FP3, unlike the qualifying session, which will be held in the dark.
In FP3, the temperature will be between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, while in qualifying it will be between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius. The wind speed is expected to be between 15 and 25 km/h.
