BUIES CREEK, N.C. – North Florida women’s soccer fell to Campbell, 1-0, at the Eakes Athletic Complex on Sunday.Â

North Florida is now 1-1 on the season after splitting its season-opening road stint.Â

The Ospreys notched three shots in the initial five minutes of action and added a shot and a pair of corner kicks right before the halftime break but were unable to convert on its early offensive momentum. Campbell took an early lead on a goal in the 40th minute.Â

Five Ospreys posted a shot in the match. Redshirt junior forward/midfielder Isabella Pontieri continued her aggressive start on the offensive end with a team-high four shots, while sophomore forward Allison Souers tallied two shots and redshirt junior midfielder/forward Paige McSwigan secured one shot on goal. Freshman Katie Entlich and Chandler Browning each tacked on their first collegiate shots.

Graduate student goalkeeper Sophia Miliancano secured three saves in the effort to extend her season total to five.Â
