The current Mount Rushmore of the WNBA includes A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and Angel Reese, with no objections. All three have lucrative sneaker deals, star in commercials, boast high Q ratings, and excel on the court. Wilson, the reigning league MVP, spent a year developing her Nike shoe deal before announcing it in May. She also recently released a book titled “Dear Black Girls.” Clark secured a $28 million deal with Nike around the same time as Wilson. The WNBA Rookie of the Year has partnerships with Wilson Sporting Goods, Gatorade, State Farm, Bose, Buick, and more. Reese, a founding owner of DC Power FC in the USL Super League, followed Wilson and Clark with her own Reebok sneaker deal and endorsements with Hershey’s Reese’s, Cash App, and Mattel. — T.F.
