Even with his Golden State Warriors trailing 3-1 in their second round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Stephen Curry won’t rush his return. Curry has been out since Game 1 due to a strained left hamstring.
“Even if I wanted to be Superman, I couldn’t,” Curry said, referring to his recovery and when he’ll play again.
The Warriors superstar was referring to teammate Draymond Green answering a question by saying the team wouldn’t try to “Superman this thing” if Curry isn’t ready to return.
The plan is for Curry to be reevaluated on Wednesday. If Golden State can extend their series with a Game 5 win, that would give Curry an additional three days to recover before Game 6.
