Team USA Player Selections
Samir Banerjee, Stanford University: Entering his senior year at Stanford, Banerjee has been one of the top players in Division I tennis since he stepped foot on campus in Palo Alto. Entering college as one of the top juniors in the world, ranking as high as No. 2 in the ITF Juniors Rankings, Banerjee transitioned smoothly into the collegiate space being named the 2023 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. Banerjee has been a First-Team All Conference selection each year of his collegiate career and he finished last season ranked No. 11 in the ITA Singles Rankings. Throughout his collegiate career, Banerjee holds a 46-28 singles record primarily from the top three positions in the Stanford lineup.
Reese Brantmeier, University of North Carolina: As the reigning ACC Player of the Year, Brantmeier has only lost nine singles matches over her three years in Chapel Hill while winning an astounding 60 singles matches over that same time. Also one of the top doubles players in the country, Brantmeier alongside teammate Alanis Hamilton won the 2025 USTA American Collegiate Wild Card Playoff to earn an entry into the 2025 US Open Women’s Doubles Main Draw. A three-time ITA All-American in singles, Brantmeier has held down the top of the lineup at North Carolina most of her career and helped the Tar Heels win their first outdoor team title as a freshman in the 2022-23 season. Brantmeier just recently brought North Carolina its first NCAA Singles Championship as she was crowned the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Singles Champion this November in Orlando.
Valerie Glozman, Stanford University: As a breakout star of the 2024-25 collegiate season, Glozman had one of the best freshman campaigns of any player in recent history last season. In addition to earning ITA All-American honors in singles, Glozman also was named the ACC Freshman of the Year, a First Team All-ACC Singles selection, and a Second Team All-ACC Doubles selection. Winning the 2025 USTA American Collegiate Wild Card Playoff this past spring in singles, Glozman earned an entry into the US Open Women’s Singles Main Draw which marked her Grand Slam Main Draw debut. This fall, Glozman won the 2025 ITA All-American Championship singles title and entered the NCAA Division I Women’s Singles Championship as the No. 1 seeded player in the draw.
Aidan Kim, Ohio State University: Heading into his junior season, Kim shined last season in what was his first year as a Buckeye. Named an ITA Singles All-American and First Team All-Big Ten Singles selection, Kim recorded 13 ranked wins last season playing primarily from the No. 1 singles position in the Ohio State lineup. Looking to make another jump this season, Kim reached the finals of the ITA All-American Men’s Singles Championship and entered the NCAA Singles Championship as the No. 3 seeded player in the draw. As one of three Buckeyes in the NCAA Singles field, the Buckeyes look to be one of the favorites heading into the spring season once again with Kim leading the charge from the top of the lineup.
Nicolas Kotzen, Columbia University: As one of the trio of Kotzen brothers to take their talents to Columbia, Nicolas has been the latest to showcase his talents at the national level earning First Team All-Ivy selections in both singles and doubles last season. Playing primarily No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles as a junior, Kotzen went 27-12 in singles and 28-12 in doubles last season as he now has over 100 combined victories over his collegiate career. At the NCAA Team Championships last May, Kotzen earned a win over Wake Forest’s DK Suresh who finished the season ranked No. 6 in the ITA Singles Rankings.
Luciana Perry, Ohio State University: Named the 2024 ITA Rookie of the Year, the 2024 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, and an ITA All-American as a freshman, Perry has been one of the top collegiate players in the nation since she joined the Buckeyes. Pushing away any idea of a sophomore slump, Perry followed up her freshman campaign by reaching the quarterfinals of the 2024-25 NCAA Singles Championship which earned her All-American honors. Named a unanimous First Team All-Big Ten selection, Perry finished her sophomore season ranked No. 9 in the ITA Singles Rankings after going 32-7 across all singles competition. This fall, Perry was ranked No. 5 in the ITA Preseason Singles Rankings and reached the semifinals of the ITA All-American Championships. Perry is the lone player in Ohio State Women’s Tennis history to reach the Round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championship three times.

The Lady Vols have reached the NCAA quarterfinals each of the past two seasons and they have had three straight 20-win seasons under Ojeda’s direction.
Andrew Rueb, Harvard University: As an alum of Harvard, Rueb was named the head coach in 2018 after 11 seasons on the staff.
